TAMPA CHAPTER COIN
Welcome to the web page of Tampa Chapter, of the Military Officer's Association of America (MOAA)! Our Chapter is a 501-C-19 tax exempt veteran's organization not associated with the Department of Defense. We are affiliated with MOAA National as one of their 390 Chapters.
Our members are Active Duty, Guard/Reserve, Retired and Former Officers of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), and Public Health Service.
Our primary purposes are to promote the objectives of the Military Officers Association of America; to foster fraternal relations among retired, active and former officers of the uniformed services and their National Guard or Reserve components; to protect the rights and interests of active duty, retired, Reserve and National Guard personnel of the uniformed services and their dependents and survivors; to provide useful services for members and their dependents and survivors; and to serve the community and the nation.
Our Tampa Chapter has been awarded the Five Star rating for five of the past six years. This award is given by MOAA National to the best chapters in the nation.I invite all retired, former, and active duty officers to become part of one of the MOAA's finest Chapters and join us by reserving your plate at one of our luncheons held on the second Thursday of each month at the MacDill Bayshore Officer's Club.
